Bill Barker has been portraying Thomas Jefferson
for the past 16 years , his stunning realistic
presentations have been enjoyed by many
thousands over the years throughout this
country and abroad. Bill has performed as
Jefferson at the White House, at the palace
of Versailles in France, at Colonial Williamsburg
since 1993 and in all sorts of venues in
America, Great Britain and France.
Thousands of visitors have been amazed by
Bill's resemblance to Jefferson. His height,
weight and general appearance the same as
those of the "Sage of Monticello."
Among the many publications to feature Bill
as Jefferson are Time, People, Mid-atlantic,
Southern Living, Readers Digest, Philadelphia,
and the Colonial Williamsburg Journal. Bill
has also appeared as Jefferson on ABC, NBC,
PBS, C-SPAN, and has been honored by the
city of Philadelphia, The city of St. Louis,
and the Hellenic Ideals Foundation.

Dick Cheatham has
been a professional living history character
presenter for over twenty years beginning
with work on staff with the National Park
Service in Virginia. A graduate of the Virginia
Military Institute in History, he is a former
television news correspondent. Presently
a weekly newspaper columnist and professional
historian, he is also a member of the National
Speakers Association and speaks to all kinds
of audiences throughout the country.
His dramatic and inspirational
character portrayals as Pocahontas' husband
John Rolfe and as America's tenth President
John Tyler have been enjoyed by thousands
at conventions, corporate and special events,
historic sites and museums, including the
Smithsonian. He has also appeared on the
BBC, PBS, The History Channel, The Learning
Channel, Entertainment Tonight, and the
Voice of America as well as in numerous
local TV programs.
In addition to his work as a living history
character interpreter, Dick Cheatham is
also founder and director of Living History
Associates, Ltd., a speaker's bureau which
books"people from America's past who
have important lessons for us today." |
